Welcome to Part Two of this introductory course on key topics related to the care of people with developmental disabilities and the support systems that surround them.
In this series of videos, we’ll begin by discussing building trust with your clients and the assessment of their social skills. From there, we’ll explore important concepts such as balancing safety vs. freedom, avoiding power struggles and the power of appropriate boundaries and consent.
